On the first day of class i didn't really think much of the silence, that's how it usually is on the first day of each new class. You walk in and look around for a familiar face, if you don't find one you usually sit in the back or the corner and basically treat your desk like a comfort blanket. I wasn't really aware of exactly what sociology was although i did have a clue, it seems like i will enjoy this class because not only do you learn about other people but yourself as well.
Even though I have a close friend of mine in the class, I thought the silence was a little awkward. I tend to sit in the back of the class anyways because I feel that teachers always call on the ones in front. Im also really excited to take this class. I took pyschology last semester and I enjoyed it alot.
